Tsomoriri Panorama

Tso Moriri (Tso Moriri Wetland Conservation Reserve), in the Changthang area, is a High Altitude Lake with an altitude of 4,595 m (15,080 ft) in Ladakh, India and is the largest (Max Length = 19km, Max width = 3km) of the High Altitude Lakes in the Trans-Himalayan biogeographic region, entirely within India. In Novembe.…..r 2002 Tso Moriri was notified a Ramsar Site.

Shot with the Canon 16-35mm f2.8 lens on a hand-held Canon EOS 5D, this  is a 180 degree panorama of Tso Moriri.
The actual picture is 24x62 inches (i.e. 5 feet long). Anyone wants a print? :)

Wow, great panorama!

If possible, can you share your technique (hand held?!!) ?

I had visited Tsomoriri last year. Have you look at some photos.

Of course, I am not a pro. Please comment gently. :)

I would LOVE to get a print :D
Are you giving one for free??? :)

(Please be kind… I’m an unemployed student)

Seriously though, that’s a beautiful breathtaking view of the lake. I can’t help wondering how it must be to see such places in real life. My sister took a trip a year back to Leh-Ladakh and had the good fortune of staying with one of the local families there, and she got to experience everything in a much more different way than a regular tourist would. It was infinitely better… I don’t think she wanted to come back!! :)

Are there more photos of your Leh Ladakh trip?

:) I will give you a print for free but only if you promise to frame it!

I do hereby solemnly swear to frame the print that you give me. And I won’t “just” frame it.… I will frame it and put it up in the main wall of my living room, as a “Pièce de résistance”… :)

Hi again.….
I just went through the rest of your blog and consequently your website and.…I’m absolutely dumbstruck.
Your photos are amazing (to say the least…to say the VERY least).

I just told all my friends about your blog/website.….

Please tell me how one can get prints of your photographs?
I’m certain they won’t be free :)
But I’m VERY interested to know if you do provide prints of your photos.… I don’t know if this is the right forum to put across this kind of query…so please excuse me if it isn’t.…

I provide prints of some of my photographs.
It also depends on how and where you would like to use them.
For noncommercial use, i provide framed prints to be put up in your home or office.
